Last weekend my brother, my sister-in-law, and my adorable niece, Adison, flew in to visit us. We were all very excited. Even though their plane was delayed several hours and there was an incident of losing the car in the parking garage, and a major storm hitting during their arrival, we were so excited to see them.

For Mother's Day my mom bought the kids outfits. All she wanted, she said over and over, was a picture of the grandkids in these outfits. We took the kids to get pictures. After it was over, we collectively decided next year she's just getting a toaster. This is a woman who has obviously forgotten what getting 3 kids ages 5, 2, and 1 dressed up for photos and keeping them clean and happy is like. Never again.

We spent a lot of Saturday and Sunday at our neighborhood pool. Monday we went to the Dallas Aquarium and to Dealey plaza. Chris went to work so I got to play photographer. You can tell from the photos that I leave much to be desired with a camera. And, of course, the three of them were stuck in Dallas with bad weather delaying their flight home to St. Louis. The weekend came full circle.
