Reagan's Favorite Things
In preparation for the upcoming 1st birthday Reagan is having, friends and family have asked what sort of things Reagan likes playing with. Over our long holiday weekend I watched her closely and here are the things she enjoys most:
- Getting into all of the dirty laundry and dragging items all over the house.
- Getting into baskets of clean, folded laundry and dragging it all over the house.
- Opening dresser drawers, taking out all of the clothes, throwing them on the floor.
- Trying to remove all of the night lights from the outlets.
- Trying to remove all the outlet covers once Mommy removes the night lights and replaces them with outlet covers.
- Pulling diapers out of the box, dragging them all over the house.
- Playing in the dogs’ water bowl.
- Playing the cat food. Get mad when Mommy won’t let her eat it.
- Go in Daddy’s office. Play with everything on the floor – cords, tools, papers. Taste all of them.
- Pull DVDs out of the cabinets (which replaced pulling all of the ornaments off the Christmas tree.)
- “Help” unload the dishwasher.
- Chew on the small Superman action figure that used to be Wilson’s until she “stole” it and “chewed it up” causing older brother to look at it in disgust saying “I don’t want it back, really…”
- Sneak into bathrooms; unroll toilet paper as quickly as possible.
- Pull down baby gate; make mad dash up stairs while giggling at surprised parents.
- Take drink coasters; beat them on glass coffee table. Get mad when someone takes coasters away. Real mad.
- Throw pacifier at cat. Clap a lot.
- Sleep. Sleep until 9 am. Get angry when someone tries to get her up at 6:30 to go to school.
These are her favorite things to do. Yes, she’s a handful.
