I received a call from Lesley last night.  It would appear that, although DisneyWorld is the "happiest place on earth", it's not where you want to be when you find out how much freighting your overweight baggage will cost you.  And it's also not going to help you when you see that because of rising fuel costs, airlines have lowered their baggage weight limits to try and conserve fuel.  I'm all for conservation - just not when it comes to luggage that needs to go to the other side of the globe. 

So.  Lesley has to fly in tomorrow, decide what items she and the family cannot part with, put those items into two suitcases and give the rest away.  She will then get on another plane, fly back to Florida, meet up with the rest of the family and start the travel back to Johannesburg. 

It appears the Ponderosa is, in fact, contagious.
